What to Send Me

The more information you send, the more useful the review can be.

A recent electric bill is optional but very helpful. PG&E and SMUD customers can usually download a recent bill from their online account in a few minutes.

  • Property address
  • Utility provider, if known
  • Recent electric bill, if available
  • Average monthly electric bill
  • Highest summer electric bill
  • Main concern or question
  • Existing solar agreement, if the property already has solar
  • Whether the client is interested in solar, batteries, battery-only, or commercial solar
Section 4

My Promise to Referral Partners

  • I will explain solar in plain English.
  • I will not pressure your client.
  • I will help clarify options, not force a sale.
  • I will tell people when solar may not pencil.
  • I will keep the conversation professional and respectful.
  • I will help protect client confidence by making solar easier to understand.
  • I will help your client compare solar, batteries, incentives, financing, and payback in a practical way.

Your client does not need a solar sales pitch. They need clear guidance and honest numbers.

Solar Questions Checklist

A simple checklist for referral partners when a client asks about solar, batteries, or an existing solar system.

If the property already has solar

  • Is the solar owned, financed, leased, or under a PPA?
  • Is there a monthly payment?
  • Is there a payoff amount?
  • Is there a transfer requirement?
  • Is there a UCC filing, fixture filing, or PACE assessment?
  • Are warranties transferable?
  • Who owns the equipment?
  • Is there a copy of the original solar agreement?
  • Is there a recent solar bill or production report?
  • Does the buyer need to assume anything?
  • Is the solar creating savings that are easy to explain?

If the property does not have solar

  • What is the current electric bill?
  • What is the highest summer bill?
  • Is the utility PG&E, SMUD, Roseville Electric, or another provider?
  • Is the client interested in batteries or backup power?
  • Does the home have a pool, EV, or heavy summer AC usage?
  • Does the client plan to stay long enough for payback to matter?
  • Would solar or batteries improve the monthly cost-of-ownership conversation?

Bottom line: if the client is confused, text Marc the property address and the main question.

Section 7

Have a Solar Question Come Up?

Send me the property address, utility bill if available, and the client's main question. I'll help you clarify whether solar is an advantage, an objection, or an opportunity.
